Description

Thermilate TRADE Universal Primer paint is a solvent-borne primer formulated for interior and exterior use, based on an anti-corrosive zinc phosphate pigment and alkyd resin it is suitable for use under a wide variety of conventional finishes, combining excellent adhesion and ease of application. Convenient for small-scale maintenance work and spot-priming a variety of surfaces like wood, metal and dry plaster. Can be used over suitably prepared galvanised metal.

Thermilate TRADE Universal Primer paint is supplied in 5 litre tins and covers up 12 m² per litre with a single coat.

Preparation
Remove loose or flaking material. Make sure the surface is. clean (no dirt or grease) and dry. Seal: If new, bare and absorbent surface, seal with this product, thinned 10% with water.

Paint
Stir to ensure paint is completely mixed. Dry: Apply 2 coats with a brush or roller, leave 2-4 hours between coats. Do not apply in very damp or humid conditions or extreme temperatures. TIP: if the colour change is strong, more coats may be required.

Clean
Remove paint from the brush or roller with a cloth and then wash with water Store: Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from any extreme temperatures.
