Description

InsOpaint Interior acrylic paint offers the perfect balance of excellent quality and maximum performance. Our emulsion paint has a noticeably superior texture, finish and very low VOC levels, together with an incredible combination of thermal insulation and breathability. This dramatically reduces condensation problems, if not eliminating them entirely. Applying a minimum of two coats of our acrylic paint on walls and ceilings provides maximum thermal insulation. InsOpaint has been independently tested across the world to UK, EU and ASTM standards.

InsOpaint Insulating acrylic paint covers up to 3.5 m² per litre with the recommended minimum of two coats. Painters and decorators can easily apply this thermal insulation acrylic paint by brush, roller or spray. If you are spray painting, filters MUST be removed and nozzle size increased to between 0.019X to 0.026X. InsOpaint thermal insulating emulsion paint has a distinct energy-saving advantage and has been scientifically proven to work. Painters and decorators should know we recommend a minimum of two coats of our acrylic paint for interior walls to achieve maximum thermal insulation and three coats for exterior walls. You can wallpaper over our emulsion paint and it will continue to provide you with thermal insulation to reduce the heat lost through the walls and ceilings by reflecting the heat BACK in to the room/building. A 5L tub will cover up to 17 m² with 2 coats.

InsOpaint thermal insulation qualities are not diminished when painted on top of lining paper, wallpaper already painted with another emulsion and non-blown vinyl wallpapers. InsOpaint should not be applied to “blown vinyl” wallpapers which absorb the paint and leave the insulating micro technology as a residue which will later become dispersed. Painting new plaster with our insulating emulsion paint requires a mist coat application, a coating that is one part paint and one part water, only then should you apply the rest of the insulating paint.
