Thermilate Technologies unique thermal insulation acrylic primer has a distinct, scientifically proven to work, energy-saving advantage that ensures the primer will reflect valuable heat back UP into the room, keeping you warmer for longer without increasing your heating system thermostat. Thermal insulation floor primer is used to provide under-floor insulation in homes, offices, shops, hotels, factories, warehouses and is the perfect solution to use under almost any interior walkable surface where space is limited.

 

Painters and decorators can easily apply this eco-friendly acrylic primer by brush, roller or spray. Only 2 coats of InsOfloor will enhance the efficiency and reduce running costs when coated on the floor surface beneath electric under-floor-heating systems. Thermal insulation acrylic primer should be applied to dry floor surfaces such as concrete, screed, wood, tile backer boards, carpets, bricks and blocks before laying your floor covering. If used as a tile primer InsOfloor bonds with tile adhesive extremely well ensuring a durable floor finish.

 

InsOfloor is supplied in 1 litre bottles and covers up to 7 m² per litre with the recommended minimum of two coats for maximum thermal insulation, or up to 14 m² per litre with a single coat. The tile primer comes in yellow colour.

Preparation Remove loose or flaking material. Make sure the surface is. clean (no dirt or grease) and dry. Seal: If new, bare and absorbent surface, seal with this product, thinned 10% with water. Paint Stir to ensure paint is completely mixed. Dry: Apply 2 coats with a brush or roller, leave 2-4 hours between coats. Do not apply in very damp or humid conditions or extreme temperatures. TIP: if the colour change is strong, more coats may be required. Clean Remove paint from the brush or roller with a cloth and then wash with water Store: Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from any extreme temperatures.
